So who am I? I am a short, plump, red-headed libran of mature years (over 21 *grin*) I was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1952, but moved to Hampshire in the South of England in 1974 when I married my husband, Hugh, who sadly died of cancer in October 2001. Southampton, where I live, is a multi-cultural city with large Sikh, Hindu and Muslim communities as well as every shade of Christian and Pagan. I like it because it is a very green city with lots of trees and a busy port with connections to all parts of the world.

I am a Druid of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and an active member of the Grove of Etain in the New Forest. I also serve as pagan prison chaplain to several prisons in the South of England and am available to conduct handfastings, naming ceremonies and other rituals by arrangement. I am a tax consultant by profession(click here for my business pages) , and a singer by inclination. I sing all sorts of music, including British and Gaelic Folk songs; Opera; Blues and Oratorio. I can usually be heard in one of the folk clubs around Hampshire or at Folk Festivals such as Winchester or Chippenham, though I do sing at a fair few weddings/handfastings etc..

I also love circle dancing, reading (mainly science fiction and fantasy, but practically anything!) My favourite authors are J R R Tolkien; Terry Pratchett; Marion Zimmer Bradley; C J Cherryh; Anne MacCaffrey; Katherine Kurtz and David Weber. My favourite bands and singers are Runrig; Capercaillie; Enya; Loreena McKennit; Christine Primrose; Maddy Prior; The Travelling Wilburys; Dire Straits and Queen

I am a keen canal enthusiast (click here for pictures of one of the last canal holidays I spent with my husband aboard our timeshare boat 'Jane' ). In 2002 I bought my very own narrowboat called 'Vital Spark' which is moored on the River Kennet at Frouds Bridge. Wave if you see us go by! I hope to put up some pictures shortly.
