- a small island off the coast of venezuela

el yaque is a small fishing village where 4 or 5 hotels have been built just to cater for windsurfing - wind is side shore from the left and august was low-season (plenty of choice at club mistral but local restaurants closed!)

great for mixed ability when we were there - wind (generally) picks up throughout the day so morning is ok for relative beginners (& its shallow for 300m from the shore) and pm its blowing!

we stayed at el yacque paradise - right on the beach - i'd go back (if i can afford it!)

	ok... so this is the hotel - club mistral on the ground floor - thats what i like!
