There are two national woodturning organisations, whose websites both offer information and contact to other woodturners, these are The Register of Professional Turners and The Association of Woodturners of Great Britain
We have two Vicmarc Lathes which we are happy to recommend, they are available from Phil Irons Woodturning. Phil also runs some excellent turning courses - you should see his woodpile!
Most of our day to day consumables come from The Axminster Power Tool Centre, except for abrasives which we get from the Sandpaper Supply Company and our bandsaw blades which come from Dure-Edge. (neither of these companies appear to have websites - find their advertisments in 'Woodturning' magazine)
