Adam, Eve and the Advisors

What’s it all about

This play aims to look at how sin affects us and how we respond to situations as a result.

It looks at the lives of Adam and Eve as if they lived from the beginning of time up to today. Therefore, they represent mankind and not an individual.

What actually happened in the Garden we can only surmise, but is was profound enough to affect the whole human race. How the human race came into existence can only be viewed from an individual stance. With so much conflicting evidence, it is difficult to be sure. What we can be sure of was Jesus’ death on the Cross was a astonishing and revolutionary as creation itself – however you may perceive it.

The Play

This play is broken down into three parts. Firstly, the scene in the garden could be slightly frivolous but draws to a conclusion in the painful separation of God the creator; and Man, his finest creation – something that truly represented himself. The aim is to show that Man was able and did make choices, God had given his creation the ability to choose.

The Second scene endeavors to show how man tries to go about things without God, The influences that affect and how man is essentially bound up by the effects of hurt and selfishness.

After a dialogue that works through the crucifixion of Jesus we see the effect on an individual that chooses to follow Jesus.
