"Maybe so," Holmes agreed, "but I think that they need to moderate their fancies. One was attempting to convince me that he was heir to a family of assassins, and that he and his friend were tracking an international group of thieves known as the Phantom Brigade."
I confess that I felt a twinge of guilt. "Perhaps I should moderate some of my narratives a little," I said. "I would not want to contribute to delinquency among the young."
"Perhaps you should," Holmes agreed dryly.
