"Um, I'm just getting his confidence, sir," Yomiko subvocalised hopefully.
"And furthermore . . ." He went down on one knee. "Examine this footprint!"
"The Paper!" Joker didn't sound mollified. "Have you forgotten your duty to the British Library?"
"But sir!" Yomiko's voice conveyed her utter horror. "Eliminating Sherlock Holmes is not only improbable -- it's impossible!"
