Himiko sat with her chin on her knees. A lesser person would have said that she was sulking. "He's having an epic battle with his long-lost father. When they've finished, they're going to get drunk."
"How do you know?" Ginji gasped.
"His long-lost uncle Random gave me a scorecard. Apparently it's standard procedure with this Corwin guy. Meet bastard son, have violent fight, get drunk, reconcile, not show up again for decades."
"Oh," Ginji said.
"In the meantime," Himiko added, "there's someone called Brand next door, and he wants a word with you."
