Jackie doesn't just ask the questions at the back of Rose's mind, she gives the answers that Rose already knows and doesn't want to hear.
Of course, she knows with absolute certainty that she will never look like her mother, never be her mother, but still those words are so familiar.
It's easier to forget family and to devote herself to the Doctor, like a priestess to a god. Gods won't let you down. Gods will give you the answers you want to hear, or the answers that you don't understand, but not the answers that you know are true.
