Grimmjow doesn't try to be complicated. He wishes people would stop accusing him of disloyalty. He doesn't try to disobey Aizen. It's just that these things happen, you know?
They should have just wiped those humans out. Torn them to bits. Soaked the place in blood. No enemies, no problem.
But he's fair. He figures Aizen will understand. He's got another crack at the Kurosaki boy. Finish him off, and Aizen's bound to put him back in the Espada again. Everything comes if you're prepared to wait for it.
Like revenge, he muses, and imagines the taste of Tousen's heart.
