"And then the Easter Bunny comes!" Orihime declared.
"Easter Bunny?" Rukia said, with considerably more interest than she'd showed in other modern festivals and impedimenta.
Orihime gestured dramatically at the cloudy sky. "He hops from cloud to cloud, bringing chocolate eggs for good children! If you go out to hunt at dawn, you can find them. But for bad children . . ." She lowered her voice. "There are rotten eggs."
Rukia nodded, taking mental notes.

"Okay," Renji reported. "I've been getting the report from Rukia on local hazardous supernatural shit, sir. Apparently there's this Hollow, looks like a giant rabbit, comes through any day now trying to lure children outside and into its clutches. Implants them with larva of some sort. Non-lethal, but it leaves mental scars. It's got into the local folklore. They make dolls of it to try to ward it off."
"Hm," Hitsugaya said thoughtfully. "Sounds plausible."

And all things considered, it was really rather a pity that Kurosaki Isshin decided to leave eggs for his family in the garden while wearing a giant fluffy bunny outfit.
