"We're old men," one of them said, and chuckled as he said it. For them to have reached the Chamber of 46, they might be old, but they were nevertheless vital, hearty, aged but unwithered; their souls were still strong, their minds still clear.

"Hardly the point at issue, gentlemen," Aizen Sousuke said politely. "I can only repeat that I have important evidence which must be heard at once in private session. I apologise --"

"Not at all," another of the 46 said, and waved a hand. "Come in. Come in."

The doors to the Chamber of 46 shut quietly.
