Did you know that there are regular reunions organised for FB cadets?
The last one was on 3rd October 2009 at the Liner Hotel, Liverpool.
Over 70 of us enjoyed a very pleasant meal and an opportunity to renew
old friendships and swing the lamp it bit, with one or two sore heads the
next morning!
Planning is in progress for the next reunion, provisionally
on Saturday 22nd October 2011, again at The Liner Hotel, Liverpool.
This will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the launch and maiden
voyage of the Fourah Bay.
Alresdy several "Voyage 1" veterans are making plans to make this on especial.
If you ar not already getting information about this event by email then
please get in touch..

After the success of the FB ties, which are almost
all sold, Mike Thurman is looking at the feasibility of ordering some
silk ED ties.
Depending on the interest, the price will be between £15
and £10 (the bigger the order the cheaper the price!).
If you are interested in a new ED tie then please let mike.thurman@oph.hamburgsud.com know as soon as possible .
Thanks
