I was asked to go and look at a problem caused by lightning, in the communications system, so I travelled out to Brunei.
Whilst I was there, I got a day to look around, and it really is a fantastic place!
This is a "floating city" of 30,000 people, made by lashing together many, many boats.
Most of the poorer workers, (and a few of the better off ones), live there, and commute to shore by river taxi.

There is a large technical college,
set right down on the water, and it looks just the sort of place I'd have
wanted to study!
The Sultan's mosque, is a fantastic
building, and it is traditional for each Sultan, to provide a new mosque for
the people of the country. The gold which can be seen is exactly
that!!
